(HEO6) $86,360 - $93,285  per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Part time, 0.4 FTE, fixed term contract for 2 years.

Working in the Education Quality Branch, within the Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE), the Education Performance & Evaluation Project Officer is responsible for supporting the evaluation of key student learning and support initiatives. These include evaluation design, data collection, analysis, reporting and monitoring.

The Education Quality Branch supports a transformational educational experience at the University of Adelaide. It delivers robust systems for quality assurance, educational policy and compliance, accreditation services and course and program development. It monitors and evaluates performance against quality indicators and the impact of strategic initiatives. Education Quality also ensures that offerings are aligned to support excellent teaching, deliver induction and continuing professional development for teachers and recognize teaching excellence.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience applying knowledge and understanding of evaluation methods, data collection techniques and approaches to practical evaluation projects.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative research and analysis skills in a social science related field, including exhibiting attention to detail.
  • Excellent report writing skills with demonstrated capability to produce accurate and high-quality reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately communicate technical ideas to a wide range of audiences in a range of formats.
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of relevant survey, analysis and reporting software.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and a capacity to act independently and deliver outcomes within established guidelines and timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
