The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has an outstanding reputation for teaching and research excellence in areas of electrical and electronic engineering, computer engineering, communication systems, biomedical engineering, autonomous systems, and renewable energy. We are seeking dedicated and passionate casual staff to assist with the delivery of our Semester 1 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, commencing 27 February 2023 until 31 July 2023.
Application process:
- Possess an eligible Australian work visa*
*Please note: Prospective employees are required to provide evidence of their Australian citizenship or working rights.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and the ability to educate and mentor students
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to clearly understand and explain technical information to students
- Evidence of good feedback from course coordinators and student evaluations
- Commitment to perform the role for the semester period.
- As a minimum requirement applicants will need to have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or be enrolled in their final year of a 4-year honours program such as a Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree
Please note there are limited opportunities available. The University may be required to change teaching modes on short notice. There may be restrictions on face-to-face interactions with students and staff and conditions may change the casual teaching support required
