About the opportunity

The Sydney Pharmacy School is seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer with an education focus, to cover for a staff secondment. You will deliver high quality teaching and training. It will be highly beneficial for you to have expertise in pharmaceutical science. You will join a strong team of pharmacy academics and researchers, who are responsible for training approximately 20% of all pharmacy graduates per year in Australia.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
make a significant contribution to teaching and learning practice
design and evaluation in pharmaceutical science
coordinate and provide vaccination training to students in the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
About you
have a PhD in an academic field relevant to pharmacy or pharmaceutical science
are registered with AHPRA (and preferably are an accredited pharmacist immuniser)
have experience in teaching and learning, including demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives
have experience in coordinating and providing vaccination training.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
