Play an active role in nurturing the University of Sydney’s alumni community. The Relationship Manager within the Alumni and Supporter Experience team connects meaningfully with alumni through effective pipeline management within the four stages of engagement from communication, connection, volunteering and giving.

Is an expert at stakeholder management. You enjoy collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to increase alumni engagement, advocacy, and philanthropy.
Can manage relationships with Deans and Heads of Schools that establishes and implements the annual engagement plan.
Has extensive experience in business development or stakeholder engagement.
You are goal oriented and results driven and you enjoy reporting on your performance and successes by documenting your monthly and yearly targets.
Has experience initiating and coordinating a range of engagement programs that may incorporate virtual or in-person events.
Has strong analytical skills and an ability to research, formulate and present high-level oral briefings.
Can demonstrate your project management skills and has a proven ability to prioritise a large workload

The Alumni and Supporter Experience team engages with a diverse community of over 400,000 alumni through a wide range of communications, events, volunteering programs, fundraising, and engagement initiatives.
Our alumni have achieved remarkable feats and are consistently ranked among the world's most employable graduates. They include Nobel laureates, Pulitzer prize winners, Australian prime ministers, humanitarians, teachers, inventors, medical innovators, and thousands like them who have changed lives all around the world.
We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder who can take a creative approach to identify and maximise opportunities to build strong connections with a portfolio of alumni ranging from recent graduates to esteemed leaders.
The Relationship Manager is an integral conduit between the central Alumni and Supporter Experience team and colleagues in the Faculty and Schools. The four Relationship Managers have distinct portfolios and priority projects and each report to the Deputy Director, Alumni and Supporter Experience.
A key aspect of the role is to maintain relationships with Deans and Heads of School within the assigned portfolio to establish the annual engagement plan and meet with them quarterly to discuss and assign bespoke engagement strategies for influential alumni.
