Overview
An opportunity exists to coordinate and manage administration activities in support of the Dean, Graduate Research, and Graduate Research Team.

The Graduate Research team provide oversight of academic matters relating to HDR courses at ECU. The team are responsible for leading and supporting the planning, governance and delivery of Higher Degree by Research courses at ECU. This includes the management and delivery of supervisor training and the course coordination of PhD programs across the University. The Graduate Research team work closely with all Schools, Teaching Areas and other organisational units in the university, including Research Services, Centre for Teaching and Learning, Student Administration and Student Life. 

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to understand and interpret complex documentation. 
  • Experience with online records management systems and databases.
  • Customer focus with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team. 

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This 0.5 FTE part-time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $78,854.00 to $87,624.00 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution, pro-rated.
