ACCOMMODATION COORDINATOR, OPERATIONS

ACU RESIDENTIAL LIFE UNIT

  • Assist the National Manager to coordinate sales, marketing and communications strategy of the business unit to attract potential students and retain current residential students. Including attending marketing events both on campuses nationally and at regional schools.
  • Coordinate the Residential Life Program and Framework including training delivery to ensure service delivery and to meet strategic objectives of ACU Student Accommodation.
  • Coordinate the National Rental Advisory Service and Legal Service delivery
  • Full-time, continuing role based at our Miguel Cordero Residence in Camperdown

  • Residential experiences can assist students in developing leadership and the ACU Graduate Attributes.

ACU Living and Learning Communities aim to provide the opportunities for student support and development. At ACU education is holistic; our Living and Learning communities promote academic achievement, health and wellbeing, participation in sport, spirituality, internationalisation, leadership and community engagement.

The role also entails:

  • Assisting the National Manager in delivering outcomes of the Organisational Unit Plan and to achieve the indicators of success as shown in the ACU Student Accommodation Strategy.
  • Providing administrative and business support at the ACU student accommodation business unit nationally.
  • Developing, updating and publishing internal best practice Standard Operating Procedures and deliver related training.

You will need to have:

  • Completion of a relevant degree; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training with experience in Student Accommodation, Education or Marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including stakeholders external to the organisation.
  • Excellent project management skills (including planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting) to meet outcomes and deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in a higher education setting delivering programs designed to increased student development and engagement, particularly in the student accommodation context.

Total remuneration valued to $107,300 total rem - $116,130 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $90,670 - $98,131 (pro rata) pa (Higher Education Worker Level 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
