(HE06) $82,879 - $89,525 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

This role is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team where you will collaborate and innovate to contribute to the delivery of online resources and library teaching and learning support for the University. 

Working under general direction, this role will contribute to the teaching, learning and research activities of the University. Working within the Academic Liaison team, you will deliver a range of client facing library services to students, academic and researchers. 

Integral to this role is the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships with faculties, schools and across the University through proactive and effective engagement and outreach programs. The Academic Support Librarian provides technical expertise to the development and delivery of library programs supporting information discovery and resource use.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and proactively within own team and with other teams.
  • Ability to work towards continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Relevant experience in an academic or research library including expertise with information discovery and library resource use.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop information literacy online training programmes and support materials using a range of tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of current and emerging trends in learning, teaching and research support within an academic institution.

The successful candidate will have well-developed interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
