Essential Job Duties
Job description: This person assists with scheduling meetings for the Chair and Associate Department Chairs, processes all student travel requests in Web Travel, processes purchase orders at the department level, orders supplies in Buy Carolina, submit access requests for Buy Carolina users, processes p-card reconciliation for a subset of faculty labs, and provides administrative support including but not limited to copying exams, issuing daily parking passes, placing orders for catering events, providing event support for events during work hours several times a month, collecting seminar guest reimbursements, processing 1/3 of faculty and post-doc travel in Concur, processing vouchers, and managing the mailroom. the candidate will need to be will need to be able to work within the ConnectCarolina environment.
