Summary:

The Total Rewards Specialist will play a pivotal role in executing the College’s comprehensive total rewards strategy, which includes compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and recognition programs. The position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compensation, benefits, and recognition programs are aligned with the College’s goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans for associates and retirees. Act as primary point of contact for associate and retiree benefit questions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • HRIS Administration: In conjunction with supervisor, ensure data in HRIS is accurate and workflows are maximized to create efficient processes.
  • Employee Recognition Programs: Administer employee recognition and incentive programs, including performance appraisal process, to help promote a culture of appreciation and excellence.
  • Data Analysis: Partner with Institutional Assessment team to conduct market research and analysis to ensure the College’s compensation packages are competitive and in alignment with industry standards. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations related to compensation and benefits, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance: Stay current on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, and provide guidance on legal matters related to compensation and benefits. Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies related to compensation, benefits, and total rewards.
  • Communication and Education: Communicate with associates about benefits programs, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their total rewards. Create materials for managers, associates, and candidates regarding total rewards programs and maintain current information on various College communication platforms.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors, such as benefits providers and compensation survey organizations, to ensure efficient service delivery.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience: 5+ years in a Human Resources department, with a concentration in compensation and benefits administration
    • Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel and other Office 365 products, and HRIS systems

    Preferred qualifications:

    • HRCI, CEBS, or SHRM certification
    • Computer Skills: HRIS background in UKG

    SALARY

    $72,000 - $82,000

    Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
