Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Analytic/Videographer positions for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University (OSU).
 
The College of Engineering is seeking creative students with skills in multimedia production to work with the Engineering+ Co-Curricular Team. The position is open to anyone with skills in photography, videography, video editing, audio editing, text animation, graphic design, data collecting and analytics. Skills in more than one area are preferred but not required.
 
The College of Engineering ENGR+ team will produce various content to enhance and share the First-Year Experience and events for First-Year Engineering students. The content includes video, print materials, and social media posts.
Position Duties
  • Assignments can include audio and video editing, videography, photography, text animations, graphic design, and transcribing.

  • Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
  • Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
  • Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
    • High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
    • Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
    • Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
    • Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
    • Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*

*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Additional Required Qualifications
At least one of the following skills:
  • Audio recording, audio editing, video recording, video editing, photography, graphic design, and text animations.
  • Ability to work as a team member and effectively interact with co-workers using a collaborative work style.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines set by the Engineering+ Team.
Preferred (Special) Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with the OSU brand guidelines.
