Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift

Under general supervision, this position ensures and is responsible for triaging incoming new patient referrals to determine the level of referral urgency. This position is responsible for providing general clinical support to an assigned clinic. Provides administrative support to faculty of the Division of Pediatric Child Neurology as assigned. Provides general clinical support for the division as a whole as needed to increase efficiency in the office and professionalism and teambuilding among faculty and staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and computer literacy/ data entry skills are required.


Position Requirements:
Required: High School Diploma or GED, with five (5) years’ clinical/clerical experience. Must be: (1) able to type 40 words per minute; (2) file; (3) copy documents; (4) maintain copier, printer, and other equipment; (5)  (6) type correspondence as needed; (7) high level of independence required in problem-solving and effectiveness (8) ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and function independently and be able to prioritize referrals.

Preferred:  Strong background in Clinical, Customer Service, and handling the large workload.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Required:  

Preferred:   EMT, MA, or LPN
