A postdoctoral position is available the laboratory of Dr. Na Xiong in The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA. The research in the Xiong lab focuses on development and function of tissue-resident lymphocytes in barrier tissues. The postdoc will study molecular mechanisms regulating establishment of resident innate lymphoid cells and T cells in the skin at early ontogenic stages and their roles in the skin homeostasis and diseases using mouse models. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with background in immunology, cellular and molecular biology, and related areas. Prior experience in analysis of immune cells and responses in animal models using flow cytometry, microscopic imaging and molecular biological techniques is desired.
