Postdoctoral Associate Position in immunity and lung diseases at Yale School of Medicine 

Starting Date: August 2024 (2 years position- renewable) 

Are you passionate about unraveling how immune cells impact chronic lung diseases? Do you possess a deep understanding of immunology and biochemistry? If so, we want you to be a part of our team!

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our lab as a Postdoctoral Associate. At the forefront of our research lies the investigation into how immune dysfunctions, particularly within monocytes/macrophages, contribute to chronic lung inflammatory diseases, with a special focus on cystic fibrosis (CF).

Under the guidance of Dr. Emanuela Bruscia in the Department of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, you will delve into research aimed at understanding and combatting CF and related disorders.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in immunobiology, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in flow cytometry and strong biochemistry background.
  • Hands-on experience with mouse models and basic molecular techniques.
  • Familiarity with immunofluorescence staining of tissue and fluorescence microscopy.
