Brief Summary of Work for this Position
This position provides support for both Passport and Postal Services in the areas of administrative support;
  • Keeps track of all expenses, revenue and inventory controls, billings, monthly and daily reconciliation of sales and expenses
  • Oversees cash handling procedures
  • Balances both USPS and UNCW accounting systems
  • Prepares daily cash deposits, and all other duties needed to ensure accounting operations

Knowledge of passports and postal operations is very helpful to the success of this position.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience
  • Knowledge of USPS postal regulations, operation and resources
  • Knowledge of the operation of PC, mail metering and POS system
  • Knowledge postal safety and security regulations

Required Certifications or licensure
  • Valid NC Driver License.
  • Annual certification as passport acceptance agent required.
