Position Summary
GME: Primary coordinator of one or two accredited educational programs that combined has total less than 14 trainees.
-Oversees and coordinates activities and ensures requirements are met related to institutional, program and board certification requirements.
-Maintains and coordinates activities required to meet institutional, program and board certification requirements.
-Acts as liaison between education program authority and recipients.
-Manages recruitment, application and orientation process.
-May be responsible for limited management of revenues and expenses.
-Provide support and coordination for Plastic Surgery faculty and programs.
-Performs other duties as required in a competent professional, respectful and collaborative manner.
-General level of decision making under limited supervision encompassing a general level of complexity due to the nature/level of responsibilities.
-Coordinates all events and activities related to the plastics post-graduate training program within the Department of Surgery. Assures compliance and conformity to all institutional and external guidelines related to the house officers and accreditation of the programs. Interact daily with house officers and collaborate with Program Director to prioritizing tasks accordingly.
