Position Summary- Staff the wellness center reception desk during operating hours.
- Monitor users and activities within the center.
- Assist PHED adjunct instructors with class preparation.
- Answer general questions from students, staff, and community members accurately, pertaining to wellness center programming, schedules, and guidelines.
- Ensure waivers and other required documentation are completed and submitted for approval by the coordinator, recreational services.
- Conduct orientations for first-time wellness center users.
- Uphold the wellness center environment of care checklist, policies, and procedures.
- Clean the facility and equipment.
- Maintain inventory checks.
- Assist with the development and organization of the annual wellness expo.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures for the wellness center independently.
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • American Heart Association first aid, CPR, and AED certification required (provided by the campus)
  • This position requires dependable initiative-takers. Good verbal / written skills, and an ability to be flexible, are necessary. A student workstudy award is needed. Please check with financial aid.
