Job Description

What We're Looking For

This position supports the mission of Baylor University by providing high level of support to a designated group of Campaign, Advancement Communications, Alumni Engagement and Donor Engagement staff to help ensure that meetings, correspondence, and other interactions with donors and constituents are productive and advance the work of the division.  It supports the execution of events and provides ongoing support of division specific business enterprises i.e. Epic and Vision. Directly interacts with constituents via phone, email and in-person.

A high school diploma, five years of relevant work experience and an active Christian faith are required. An Associate's degree and seven years of experience are preferred.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis. 

What You Will Do

  • Support the Associate Vice President of Advancement; Assistant Vice President for Advancement Communications and Assistant Vice President for Alumni Engagement by schedule meetings, making travel arrangements, preparing itineraries, compiling meeting agenda's and producing other materials for these meetings. 
  • Process invoices in Ignite, Baylor's Oracle Cloud-based home system. 
  • Assist review of donor/mailing list.  
  • Support campaign planning and execution.  
  • Prepare reports, schedule meetings, support ongoing interactions and activity with external campaign counsel.  
  • Support stewardship programs especially with VIP constituents and donors.  
  • Support efforts to acknowledge gifts including preparation and proofing correspondence.  
  • Facilitate University's acknowledgment of the death of constituents i.e. correspondence or other expressions of sympathy. 
  • Staff and resource reoccurring staff meetings including team meetings, and calendar meetings.  
  • Prepare agendas, facilitate team scheduling and track action items and deadlines.
  • Support ongoing work with volunteer groups such as the Baylor Board of Advocates, Campaign Steering Committee, women's groups, area regional council's etc.  
  • Field inbound calls, generate agendas, schedule and host meetings.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
  • Ability to comply with University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
