Job Summary: The Continuing Student Temporary Assistant is for recent UA graduates or students temporarily ineligible for student employment (due to enrolment, etc.) who are continuing the work of their student role at the University for a short-term assignment (less than one year). Performs various duties with some variety and complexity for a college or department in support of a program, project, event or other sponsored activity.


Additional Department Summary: Works with Dr. Jair Lizarazo-Adarme to prepare Power BI reports for the SharePoint site for the research support group and the College of Engineering. Prepares reports and documents that include automatically customize reports based on access tier level, database relationship scheme, and upgrades of cyber security issues found with access to the site.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Some UA student employment experience performing the same work for the department.


Skills and Knowledge: Experience with data storage software such as SQL, and visualization (Power BI) software. Working knowledge of multiple editing platforms and software packages. Knowledge of basic programming, networking, or system skills


Preferred Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of some of the following applications: Microsoft Office, VBA, and SQL.
