Normal Work Schedule: Varies; up to 25 hours per week

Job Summary: The External Relations and Alumni Representative maintains relationships in the assigned area to benefit the university, including serving as a resource for students and their families who are currently enrolled at UA. Serves as a resource and local expert for students, advancement, alumni, career services and others affiliated with UA.


Additional Department Summary: Builds and maintains relationships with students, families, and alumni in the Houston area to promote the University, increase engagement, and sustain a positive image of UA.


Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience OR bachelor's degree.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must reside in the Houston Area.
Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Experience working with donors, alumni, or prospective students.
