Position Summary
Performs a variety of research, data base and clerical duties of a routine and technical nature in support of clinical research to ensure adherence to protocols and quality of information received.


Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the study coordinator with participant recruitment, including telephone screening interviews and scheduling laboratory visits.
  • Enters, maintains and updates research data; assists in screening documents for completeness and compliance with protocol and appropriate regulations.
  • Performs behavioral and neuroimaging assessments of study participants according to the study protocol including administering structured diagnostic interviews, conducting MRI (brain scanning) sessions, conducting EEG (brain waves) recordings, administering computer-based neuropsychological tests, and collecting biomedical samples (saliva) from research participants. Appropriate training for the above tasks will be provided.
  • Communicates and coordinates with other study personnel as necessary. Attends routine meetings and other meetings related to the clinical research; stays abreast of information and any changes to study protocol.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by research team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorâ™s degree.
  • Experience in clinical research support or other relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification plus one year of customer service experience, preferably in medical environment; some college may substitute for experience.

Salary Range
$17.00 - $24.66 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
