Role of the Position
Breast Surgical Oncologist
Provide surgical management for benign and malignant breast conditions
Develop and Participate in clinical research, and quality improvement projects
Teaching and research role involves mentoring medical students, residents and fellows
Provide breast surgery consultation services to inpatients and outpatients
Assist in developing breast cancer navigation program including multidisciplinary tumor board
Collaborate with Advanced Practice Practitioner for patient care
General Surgery Call Coverage
Provide general surgery emergency call coverage at primary hospital
Teaching rounds with medical students, residents, and fellows
This is a non-tenure-track position

Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO from accredited institution
Current active Nevada Medical License
Completed General Surgery Residency
American Board of Surgery - Board Certified or Board Eligible
Completed SSO accredited Breast Surgery Fellowship prior to start date
