Job Summary
East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in collaboration with the Quillen College of Medicine Department of Family Medicine. This position is for a clinical-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
The faculty member will primarily provide collaborative, interdisciplinary patient care in the ETSU Family Medicine Clinic in Kingsport, TN in disease state management and population health services while applying specialized knowledge of pharmacotherapy to direct patient care, teaching, and consultation in transitions of care. The successful applicant will also teach in the didactic curriculum, precept students in the professional experiential program, mentor and precept PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents, contribute to the scholarly pursuits of the department and participate in regional/national presentations. The faculty member will also provide service to the College, the University, and the broader professional community.

Required Qualifications
  • PharmD and a PGY2 ASHP-accredited Ambulatory Care Residency or equivalent experience by summer 2024.  
  • Candidates must be eligible for a Tennessee Pharmacist license.
