Temporary administrative assistant to perform clerical tasks from June 11th through July 1st for our Youth Summer Series Camp. This temporary summer position will operate under the guidelines of Programs Serving Minors and involves interaction with youths. This job is a position of trust and will adhere to the Minors on Campus policy. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and skilled in developing, organizing, and maintaining records.

Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.

 Maintain student records, files, daily check-ins, and data records for reporting as well as physical and digital filing systems.

Answer phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors.

Respond to emails and other digital queries and correspondence.

Input information in databases and spreadsheets.

Coordinate logistics for meetings, including room setup and catering.

Work closely with coordinators to retrieve and update daily reports. 

Work with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations.

Ensure that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.

Present a positive and professional image for the organization.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Associate's degree
  • Certified Administrative Professional  (CAP) or Microsoft Office Specialist  (MOS) certification is a plus

$20.00/per hour; total of $1,660.00/summer program

  • Familiarity with standard office platforms, such as Microsoft Office.

This is a temporary position that begins on June 11th and ends on July 1, 2024.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
