Job Description:

Act as the key point of contact for all administrative functions of the Center.

Manage the distance learning (DL) fees process, canvas updates, teaching evaluation processes, and other schedule and/or quality control needs for the Center. These tasks include collaborating with other departments to establish best practices for fees, enter the DL fees in PeopleSoft, assisting the ID team with final review of online courses, managing the incoming/outgoing paperwork and processes for all TLC teaching committee participation (and teaching awards), and serving as liaison to the UF help desk to document and process canvas course concerns.

Collaborate and support the Assistant Dean/Director and other TLC team members in data analytics requests. Assist with collection of AACSB data, learning outcome documentation, strategic planning for curriculum goals, and technology platforms that collect and analyze data.

Manage vendor contracts by maintaining status, formulate fiscal policies for the Center, oversee general funds and accounts, oversee and monitor Pcard activities and travel expenses/expense reports, manage payroll, and manage Centers annual budget. Manage suppliers and work closely with vendors and event services, contracts, and event planning/budgets/procurement related to TLC events. Process all purchase orders and invoices for TLC. Act as the administrative point of contact for TLC software platforms.

Human Resources functions to include but not limited to managing the new-hire and on-boarding process/policies/procedures for TLC team members including student assistants. Serve as back up to approve time for TLC team members and student assistants and formulate staff schedules and calendar of events. Act as the HR liaison for TLC within the College of Business and inform team members of any university wide HR changes/updates. Answer and assist TLC staff with HR questions. Manage Effort and FAR Reporting for faculty staff of the Center. Support the Assistant Dean and Director and their requests related to administrative functions of the Center. 

Act as the key point of contact for TLC facility operations. Assist with on-going IT requests, assist the Ast. Dean/Director with space allocation (includes processing the annual space report), oversee staff key inventory and laptop/desktop inventory, manage and monitor office equipment and equipment requests, and oversee office repairs and upkeep on an annual basis. Support the Assistant Dean/Director and their requests related to operational functions of the Center.


Expected Salary:

$23.00 - $26.50 / an hour

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and appropriate experience.

• Highly proficient with web-based resources, spreadsheet and presentation software (PeopleSoft, MS Office Suite: Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel; various data dashboard platforms-Cognos)
• Strong ability to work under pressure, with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and fluctuating workloads. In addition, the ability and willingness to work flexible hours with occasional travel are desired.
• Strong organizational work skills, defining tasks, prioritizing assignments, and following through on all projects independently
