Job Description:

The University of Florida's Division of Enrollment Management is actively searching for an Assistant University Registrar for Registration. Reporting to the Senior Associate University Registrar, this position oversees the planning, scheduling, and supervision of the university's registration system, ensuring seamless enrollment processes for students.

Responsibilities include:

Registration System Oversight

  • Manage the planning, scheduling, and training for the university's registration system.
  • Provide support to staff processing registration transactions and managing course prerequisites.
  • Coordinate athlete enrollment process with the University Athletic Association.
  • Ensure compliance with registration requirements for student-athletes and other specific student groups.
  • Manage campus-wide term activation process and registration start times.
  • Analyze and streamline registration services to enhance efficiency.
  • Analyze student course requests and coordinate with departmental personnel.
  • Monitor, analyze, and forecast enrollment data for senior management evaluation.
  • Collaborate with system staff to implement changes to the registration system.

Non-Traditional Programs Support

  • Develop, manage, and troubleshoot systems for non-traditional program participants.
  • Coordinate Distance Education support initiatives and student group utilization.
  • Liaise with various university offices for Distance Education activities.
  • Support outreach efforts for statewide UF Distance Education Program.

Project Coordination and Publication Review

  • Assist in coordinating major projects within the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Provide training and communication support for faculty and staff.
  • Review and approve departmental publications related to supervised programs.

Leadership and Supervision:

  • Provide guidance and support to the Registration team to enhance professional growth and development.
  • Set clear expectations and goals, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
  • Foster a positive work environment conducive to collaboration and innovation.

Other duties

  • Cross-train to provide supervisory support in other areas of the office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary:

$65,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
