About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Officer who is currently working in a technical role who would like to further develop their technical skills to join our IT Services Team. This is an essential role within the team as you will be developing and implementing MS Operating Systems and a wide variety of applications for all University stakeholders, – all of which are increasingly essential to the growth and success of the University.

You will combine technical expertise with a commitment to excellent customer service.  Proven knowledge in the support of IT services and applications is essential, as is an awareness of relevant IT platforms and environments.

About You

As Technical Services Officer you will have:

  • Significant work experience in supporting and developing MS Windows / Microsoft Office systems in a large organisation
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of supporting, developing and delivering technical solutions across a range of platforms
  • Experience of using / supporting a wide range of PC and mobile hardware devices
  • Experience of supporting Enterprise network services
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own using your initiative
  • High customer care skills
