The Department of Digital Humanities is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Digital Asset and Media Management / Digital Curation to contribute to teaching across our MA Digital Curation and Digital Asset and Media Management degrees. The post holder will contribute to teaching on modules such as: Introduction to Digital Asset and Media Management, Curating and Preserving Digital Culture, Digital Asset and Media Technologies in Practice, Information Ethics and Digital Rights, Crowds and Clouds, and other teaching as required. The post holder will have a sound knowledge of key concepts, debates and challenges in digital asset and media management / digital curation across a range of sectors, including cultural organisations, business, and technology companies.
The post holder will make a significant contribution to organising, delivering, and administering research-informed teaching to the highest professional standards at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including designing learning materials, convening modules, lecturing, seminar teaching, and providing formative and summative feedback. Post holders will supervise dissertations at all levels, and undertake examining as required. Successful candidates will also undertake pastoral and administrative duties, including personal tutoring and contribution to Departmental, Faculty and University administration.
