The Faculty of Science and Engineering is looking to appoint a Student Experience Administrator, supporting the broad spectrum of Education and Student Experience. You will have responsibility for a defined area of administration work and will provide day to day support to students and colleagues within the Faculty. Reporting to the Student Experience Team Leader, you will be an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual who is looking for an opportunity to deliver a high-quality service in a Faculty setting. The Student Experience Administrator is a relatively new role within a small administrative team, reporting to the Faculty Student Experience Team Leader and is accountable to the Head of Education and Student Experience.

You will work on academic compliance activities including Faculty Progress appeals, assessment appeals, student complaints, and disciplinary investigations, with a particular focus on providing this support for Postgraduate Research (PGR) students. You will offer support to academic quality and standards processes including programme approval, annual subject action planning, and portfolio planning. You will provide secretarial support to Faculty groups and committees as required. You will work collaboratively with central professional services, including Student Life, Student Welfare, Advice and Guidance, Careers and Employability, Timetabling, Exams and Assessment and Academic Compliance.

You should have three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language, and experience of working in a student facing role.
