As the Senior Researcher Developer (PGR), you’ll have an exciting opportunity to lead the design and delivery of an innovative PGR development portfolio. You will be central to the University’s aspirations to create a culture of excellence for all PGRs and related staff, maximising your skills and experience to make a real difference to those we support.

Based in, The Academy - University of Liverpool, our centre of excellence in people and practice development, you’ll be part of a high-achieving team, working alongside colleagues in Researcher, Academic and Organisational Development. Through collaboration and with the freedom to effect change, you’ll design high-impact learning opportunities for PGRs and those that support them, using your significant expertise and track-record of delivering sector-leading, inclusive development solutions.

Your ambition to succeed, to build partnerships and to break new ground in PGR development will see you lead high-profile activities that span all disciplinary areas of the University. Using your creativity, organisational abilities and leadership skills, you’ll manage your own team while building effective networks and operating as a highly effective influencer to showcase PGR development.

You will demonstrate an ability to effectively collaborate with senior colleagues and diverse stakeholders, including with CDTs and DTPs, as you contribute to the University’s flourishing research environment.

You will be able to see the big picture, with sharp attention to detail. You’ll see solutions where others see challenges and you’ll be driven to help PGRs realise their ambitions. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

You will have a PhD in any discipline or equivalent professional experience.
