This new part time (0.7FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2024, there may be a possibility of extension for a further 12 months, subject to approval. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

Exeter Innovation is seeking a highly motivated senior administrator to support the Cornwall-based staff in three key areas: general administration, bid development and support, and reporting requirements.

We are investing in the Directorate of Exeter Innovation to drive forward our already strong relationships with business; grow our potential for significant impact; and galvanise regional innovation. 

The main responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • General administration support, including events, logistics and campus-based queries, as well as stakeholder relationship support;
  • Bid development support, including project costings (WorkTribe) and submission, stakeholder engagement meetings, and pipeline scanning;
  • Reporting support for regional funding projects and portfolios.

This post will be working in the Exeter Innovation Cornwall team. It is anticipated that work undertaken by the postholder will further the aspirations of the University in its strategic priorities for Cornwall and as an anchor institution for the region.
