Maternity Cover 12 months 0.8 FTE

Background of Department/Role

The Clinical Audit Project Manager for Practice Learning will engage with audits across the placement provision and support the School of Nursing to manage and enhance the practice learning experience from the information gathered.

The role requires a clear understanding of the skills and knowledge required to support digitally enabled, compassionate and safe practitioners to care for patients in a changing health and social care landscape.

The successful applicant will understand the needs of employers and align this to support NHS Long Term Workforce Plan.

To be successful in this role you will be confident in managing audit cycles and recognise the importance of compliance in an educational setting.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to act as an ambassador for the University internally and externally. Excellent communication in this role means having confidence in team discussions and having a strong background in relationship building with practice learning partners/ external stakeholders, confident communication via email savvy and verbally, good literacy skills and experience with Microsoft software is also essential.

Additionally, you will need to work under pressure and meet key performance indicators identified through strategic planning.


How will you work?

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is hybrid across 4 days a week.

Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
