About The Role 

You will deliver teaching, technical support and practical advice to enable students to realise their ideas across a wide range of digital/traditional printing processes and applications. You will need to be able to manage and support archival large format digital printing, traditional silk screen printing, etching, woodcut and lino-cut. A background in book making and binding would be a distinct advantage.

About  The Candidate 

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to teach in our Fine Art Print - Art Practice Area. You will be part of our highly skilled team who provide world class practical teaching to all students in the Department of Art at Goldsmiths.

A degree (or equivalent) from an art background is essential. You will have a proven track record of working as an Art Practice Tutor.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to use initiative in the performance of your duties and to co-ordinate, plan and prioritise work. You must be able to work flexibly, without close supervision, be willing to work as part of a team and have the ability to adapt to new technologies and to self-skill where appropriate.

The start date for the position is 16 September 2024.

Salary - Grade 6, £37,655 to £40,788, (pro rata)  including London Weighting
