We are looking for an accomplished Administrative Officer to support our part-time postgraduate programmes and short training courses for professionals from promotion to delivery.
You will need: excellent organisational and project management skills; good communication skills (written and oral), and the ability to convey detailed and complex information; strong customer focus and a proven track record in delivering high levels of service; good desk-research, analytical and problem-solving skills; competence in using standard office IT applications, including word processing, spread-sheets and data management systems; an appropriate level of numeracy (at least a good pass at GCSE Maths or equivalent); Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
It will be an advantage to have experience of: managing events and/or training courses; communicating with different audiences (ideally within education); operating within a customer-facing role, especially within marketing, public relations or a similar field; contributing to organisational processes (ideally within education); editing web-pages, managing electronic learning resource systems, and working with web-based marketing; financial processing and/or planning; staff supervision and/or guidance.
