Offer Description

Research objectives description

The DLR Project aims to contribute on developing real-time DLR solutions for transmission and distribution lines to meet European and global decarbonization goals, supporting the integration of renewable energy, and improving overall grid efficiency and resilience. This technology will play a critical role in creating a more adaptive and sustainable power grid. This Project will focus on:

- Development of improved conductor models for DLR applications.

- Better determination of characteristic conductor parameters.

- Better characterization of the different heating and cooling mechanisms.

- Development of energy harvesting solutions for high- and medium-voltage power lines.

- Laboratory indoor and outdoor tests of the wireless node solution.
