Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica (iBET), Oeiras, Portugal, has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of biotechnology available within the project SinTra – Workflows for sin gle cell tra nscriptomics in human cell-based bioprocesses and invitro models, financed by iBETXplore through internal funds.

Specific Requirements

- Experience in primary cultures of human hepatic and myeloid cells

- Experience in the development of in vitro 3D co-cultures

- Hands-on experience in viral transduction of epithelial cells

- Independent user in confocal microscopy and flow cytometry

- Good organizational and communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Good use of the English language

Eligibility criteria

Applications will be accepted from 10th May until 24th May of 2024.

Applications must be formalized with a motivation letter, Curriculum Vitae (CV) and diploma certificate. If the degree or diploma has been granted by a foreign higher education institution, it must comply with the provisions of Portuguese Decree-Law 341/2007 of October 12, and any formalities established therein must be completed by the end of the deadline for the application.

Selection process

Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be made according to the following:

- Academic training with a minimum of (18/20) values - _20 _%;

- Curriculum Assessment (CV) according to the admission requirements - _80_%

 

Curriculum Assessmentwill be carried out according to the admission requirements. If the jury so wishes, can proceed with interview.

 

Thus, the final evaluation will consist of 70% of curriculum evaluation and 30% of the interview evaluation.

 

Applicants who do not meet the above admission requirements will not be eligible.
