Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master's degree) for a
30-hour/week (part-time), four-year position at the Institute for Legal Gender Studies

The Institute for Legal Gender Studies’ research and teaching focuses on legal protection against discrimination and violence, on the legal recognition of social diversity, and on the challenges the digital transformation poses for non-discrimination law. You can expect regular academic events, innovative teaching formats and a collegial and ambitious working environment with excellent opportunities for academic and personal development. Please note that our working language is German and applicants must have appropriate language skills.
Job Duties:
- Participation in the research projects of the Institute for Legal Gender Studies
- Independent research activities (especially dissertations) and active participation in scientific conferences
- Independent teaching and co-supervision of scientific work
- Support in administrative activities
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a Diploma or master’s degree in law
- Knowledge of legal gender studies, human rights and/or anti-discrimination law
- Interest in (interdisciplinary) scientific research
- Initiative and ability to work in a team
- Very good German and good English skills (German level C1, English level B2)

- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,578.80 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
