Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join Digital Business Solution, Administrative Division.

The Senior Operations Analyst will play a key role in the provision of effective service delivery and demand management of Student and Stakeholder Engagement (SSE) portfolio. The role will be responsible for leading and managing the triage and assessment of specific types of demand from stakeholders and ensuring that service delivery aligns with the organisational priorities.

What you need to succeed

  • Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with at least four (4) years subsequent relevant experience.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to conceptualise, establish and implement new initiatives and innovative solutions within a specified framework, including the ability to develop process mapping (as-is & to-be in BPMN), data and systems documentation in accordance with industry standards.
  • Proficient technical skills and proven experience working with service management tools, SQL/other relevant database query tools (or ability to rapidly acquire these skills), with an ability to understand and interact with a complex relational database.
  • Well-developed verbal and interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical and diverse audience.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills including the ability to produce high quality user procedures, system documentation, and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including time management with the ability to work effectively within a client-focused team in a changing environment including the ability to work independently.
