Your New Role
Research Statistician/Epidemiologist
The Dementia Centre of Excellence, within the Curtin EnAble Institute, is seeking an outstanding statistical researcher to help expand our ability to undertake complex, longitudinal data analyses and contribute to the program of research around the impacts of population ageing on brain health. The post-holder will utilise health record and cohort study data from Australia and Internationally, delivering applied research to impact health policy. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary international team that includes epidemiologists, psychologists, sports scientists, nutritionists, clinicians, and early and mid-career researchers.
To be considered for this post, you must hold a PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related subject, with excellent knowledge of research methods in epidemiology and statistics. You will have extensive experience analysing longitudinal data (e.g., risk prediction, machine learning etc), an established international publication record and success in attaining research funding. You will be enthusiastic and willing to take a leading role in driving new research projects.
