HEO10 $136,821 - $145,823 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation.

Full time, fixed term position for 9 months.

The Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE) provides leadership in achieving the University's strategic goals, particularly in relation to learning and teaching and the provision of quality student experience across the University, as expressed in the University’s Strategic Plan. 

As our Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of the design, development and delivery of in-house capabilities for online courses and programs. Supporting the Program Director, you will play a critical role in the initial phase of establishing a comprehensive online Learning and Teaching (L&T) infrastructure, encompassing lead generation, online learner support functions, and an expanded product range and oversee the transition of existing online programs from a shared service model to a strategically negotiated future state.

Your key responsibilities will include developing online lead generation and online learner support capabilities; managing the Online project team and dedicated workstreams; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate organisational, cultural, and structural change; and leadership of project planning and reporting for implementation of 'day 1' deliverables.

To be successful you will need: 

  • Proven experience in establishing and delivering complex programs (preferably within a Higher Education context).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the national and international context of vocational, pathways and higher education.
  • Experience in delivering successful programs, initiatives and projects on time within budget.
  • Demonstrated capability and professional leadership to influence at all levels of staffing within a large and complex organisation.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills coupled with a consultative and collaborative communication style to be able to negotiate and engage with senior people internally and externally.   
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high overall degree of autonomy, exercise strategic and creative thinking and problem solving.  
  • High level experience leading operational and/or project delivery teams that consistently deliver results within agreed timeframes.
  • A demonstrable capacity to contribute strongly to creating and maintaining a working environment which is positive, respectful, inclusive, and productive.

Qualification/s:

  • Postgraduate qualification (preferably in project management) and extensive relevant experience.
