Expressions of interest are now open for a secondment/fixed term contract opportunity within the Adelaide University Integration Management Office (IMO) for a Senior Event and Logistics Coordinator (HEO 7).

About the role

As the Senior Event and Logistics Coordinator (HEO 7) you will be responsible for coordination of the co-creation and event activities including liaison with the Domains, event advice, support and execution, toolkit maintenance, and the rollout or broader co-creation activities to establish the new Adelaide University.

This role will focus on internal audiences (staff and current students), however, it will work closely with the relevant Domains within the Integration Management Office, including the Market and Partner Engagement Domain, for external audience communication related to the transition process.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordination of co-creation activities across the transformation program
  • Provision of event management, coordination and support
  • Program-wide internal communication content development and execution in support of broader program communication activity
  • General project coordination and support as directed across the program of activity

Essential Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience 
  • Expertise and experience in managing the design, development and implementation of high-profile events and engagement activities in line with communication and business objectives 
  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating, facilitating and managing strategic sponsorships in line with marketing objectives 
  • Proven experience in providing advice on protocol issues relating to significant state, national and international events 
  • High-level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including public speaking experience, negotiation skills, and the ability to relate to a broad cross section of people inside and outside the University
