  • Remuneration: $116,370 to $127,294 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $98,334 to $107,565 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading).

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join Research Infrastructure, Research Portfolio, Academic Division.

The Business Analyst will contribute to the strategic and operational delivery of a broad spectrum of Research Infrastructure projects including business process improvement using digital solutions, coordination of operational activities to ensure compliance with legal obligations and key performance indicator reporting. The role will work directly with Research Infrastructure staff and other QUT business units designing and carrying out business improvement projects through the design of new tools and methods, to turn them into solid and reliable processes to increase efficiencies to the unit and beyond.

What you need to succeed

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proven record of success in delivering business improvement outcomes for end users.
  • Proven ability to work independently with well-developed time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail. Evidence of exceptional performance in supporting project delivery under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and data visualisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to work and contribute positively to a team environment and engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
