  • Commencement Salary: $70,476 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

You are a highly motivated administrative officer with strong attention to detail. You approach challenging situations with diplomacy and a solutions-focus to see positive outcomes. You establish credibility through honest and responsive customer service to a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role 

You will undertake a broad range of administrative and operational duties. You will work as part of the Executive Services team and contribute to the effective operation of the Academic Unit by supporting the smooth and effective operation of the Unit’s executive team.

As a key team member supporting the Academic Unit you will work closely with the Deans of Programs in particular to ensure the effective operation of the Academic Unit and make a positive contribution to the Unit in the delivery of world class teaching, research and education services.

The UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance offers a wide range of degrees and conducts research in the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, medical radiation sciences, medical sonography, speech pathology, clinical exercise physiology, exercise and nutrition, health sciences, public health, exercise and sport science, and human movement.

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Post-secondary qualifications in a business or administrative related discipline or demonstrated experience supporting senior managers in a personal assistant or administrative support role in a customer-oriented environment
  • Demonstrable organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally, demonstrating professionalism and customer service with a diverse range of people and cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to produce a variety of high-quality written correspondence and presentations with high level attention to detail and the ability to provide editing and presentation assistance on a broad range of documentations
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the suite of programs in Microsoft Office and experience in the establishment and maintenance of a records management system
