Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is a highly successful Australian university with an applied emphasis in courses and research. Based in Brisbane, the university has a global outlook, some 42,000 students, including 6000 from overseas, and an annual budget of more than AU$750 million.

Shops for students:

The QUT Student Guild operates convenience stores on each campus.  

The QUT Student Guild owns and operates a newsagency on campus at Kelvin Grove. The newsagency is also an Australia Post Office and provides the full range of services available at all Post Offices, such as Postal Boxes, B-Pay, money orders and overseas mailing. The newsagency sells a wide variety of goods including milk, magazines, stationery, phone credits, and Go Cards.

Campus Shop and Lolly Shop are now combined in one convenient location on Level 2 of L Block Gardens Point.
