Yue Jiang Memorial Scholarship was established to provide scholarship support for an incoming international first-year student from China admitted to a degree program in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (ASU) for the 2023-24 academic year. Yue Jiang was a finance major in W. P. Carey who passed away tragically in 2016. As an active student at ASU, her loss had great impact on our ASU community. The Yue Jiang Memorial Scholarship honors her spirit and her family by awarding a scholarship to a deserving Chinese student in her name.

Additional criteria:
Applicants must be an incoming international first-year student directly from China admitted for the 2023-24 academic year. Students who attended high school in the United States are not eligible for consideration.
Applicants must meet admission requirements for Arizona State University and the W. P. Carey School of Business in order to be considered for the scholarship. Admission application materials (admission application, official transcripts, test scores, and application fee) must be on file with the ASU Undergraduate Admissions Office. Admission requirements are available at: https://students.asu.edu/international
Donor preferences:
Applicants will be notified late July if selected as a finalist. If selected as a finalist, applicants may be required to submit a video introducing themselves and discuss how they plan to become engaged in ASU's culture as an international student. More information about the process and next steps will be sent to finalists as a continuation of the selection process.

Application information
Students must complete all essays in ordered to be considered for the scholarship. Applicants, if selected as a finalist, may be required to submit a video introducing themselves as well as discussing how they plan to become engaged in ASU's culture as an international student.
Please make sure to address (in the "Choosing ASU" essay) what groups, traditions or activities at W. P. Carey or Arizona State University you plan to engage in and why.
