Job Summary
The Unified Communications (UC) service unit of University Information Technology is seeking a University of Utah student to provide programming assistance in support of UC’s campus wide UMail service and other collaboration tools. Once hired, the successful candidate will learn PowerShell for scripting on Microsoft Exchange servers but should have good prior knowledge of at least one other scripting language (e.g., perl, awk) and HTML.
 Working closely with UC staff, this programmer will develop scripts to automate UMail related processes that currently are manual. We expect that those students majoring in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, and/or other computationally intensive science and engineering disciplines will benefit most from this work experience.
