KUER 90.1, the NPR member station broadcasting from the University of Utah, is looking for a Marketing Assistant. The successful candidate will provide support to the Marketing and Development Departments by providing clerical work in relation to marketing and station fundraising. Additional duties may include maintaining station analytics, community engagement outreach (if applicable) and assistance during fundraising efforts. This position will start at the beginning of Spring Semester and run through April 2021.
This is a Category IIA position: Not required on campus and able to telework during duration of the University of Utah’s response to COVID-19. Employees and/or functions where employees are able to work remotely in order to maintain campus systems, campus operations, clinical operations, and patient care.
- Track and maintain station archives, analytics and contact lists.

Strong communication and customer service skills required. Good computer and organizational skills are essential. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently are necessary due to remote work because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Experience working in Excel is preferred.
Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are preferred, but not required.
