Position Summary | The Primary purpose of the position includes but is not limited to: Job responsibilities include providing pre-award administrative support for faculty applying to external and federal sponsors for research funding. This includes reviewing sponsor guidelines and creating a checklist of application requirements for faculty to follow, creating a budget for the proposal, utilizing the university’s Ramses system and application software to prepare the application, following the ESOP’s policies and processes pertaining to applications, and recording the proposal details in appropriate documents and databases. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or related area, or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from an accredited institution. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Must be familiar with Ramses, Cayuse, and must have strong Excel skills. Candidates without Rames, Cayuse and Pre Award Grant experience will not be considered. |
