Description   University of Toronto (UToronto) offers 3 postdoctoral fellowships for 2 years for scholars that wrote their dissertation on a topic related to Jewish studies. UToronto's Centre for Jewish Studies (CJS), located in Canada, is a comprehensive program that offers courses in many subjects. Fellows will continue their research, give a lecture, teach 1 class each term, and collaborate with CJS.  
Award Amount   Stipend of $45,000 as well as up to an additional $1,500 to support participation in academic conferences.

Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   To support advanced Jewish studies. Must have completed the dissertation before the fellowship begins. Dissertation must have been on a topic related to the history, culture, literature, or thought of the Jewish people. Letter of interest. CV. Teaching interests. Writing sample.
