Enrichment grants are for competitive professional opportunities, including presenting a paper at a symposium or conference, attending a competitive residency, participating in an invitational or juried exhibition, giving an artist talk or participating on a panel discussion, among others. These are opportunities where many people apply and only a select few are awarded the opportunity to participate.

There source of travel funding for Undergraduate School of Art Students is listed below:
School of Art/HIDA Enrichment Grants (see “Student_Enrichment_Grant_Application”).
In order to apply for Travel Enrichment Grant, the below items must be submitted to Forrest Solis electronically at forrest.solis@asu and in hard copy form in Forrest Solis's campus mailbox in the School of Art Office:
1. Signed SOA/HIDA Enrichment grant application
2. One-page budget including items for each expense (i.e. Flight, ground transport, registration, hotel, etc.). A separate page that outlines your expenses with more specificity than the SOA/HIDA Enrichment Grant Application is required. The expenses in your submitted budget must match the expenses in your student enrichment grant application. Please use the below sample budget as a guide.
3. A print-out of your travel summary and estimated travel costs. This is evidence that justifies your expenses, such as a receipt or estimate for your airfare, rental car, bus fare, hotel purchase, etc. Please highlight all of the costs that are referenced in your Signed SOA/HIDA Enrichment grant application.
4. An official letter of invitation (emails are fine).
5. A brief (1 or 2 paragraph) narrative describing the importance of the opportunity, the competitive nature of the opportunity and how it will benefit you professionally.
