The Therald Moeller Scholarship was established in honor of Emeritus Professor Therald Moeller to support a student in the School of Molecular Sciences. Dr. Moeller, past Chair of the former Chemistry Department, was instrumental in advancing inorganic chemistry as a discipline at the national level. He authored or edited texts used for advanced Inorganic Chemistry courses and was co-founder of the American Chemical Society Division of Inorganic Chemistry.

Preference will be given to students with an interest in a career in chemistry.
